Video Consultation
The first step to improving your skin with Cosmetier is to book a video consultation with Dr Sharma. Once booked, you will receive an email with a skin questionnaire to help us understand what it is that’s bothering you about your skin and how it’s affecting your well being and self-confidence. We will also ask for some images to give us a clear idea of what your concerns are (these remain completely confidential between you and Dr Sharma).
During the consultation, we will further go through what is bothering you in more detail. D Sharma will thoroughly assess your skin at the time of the appointment by asking tailored, in-depth questions on the quality, feel and changes in your skin and most importantly, what you want to address.
Education
We have a library of education sheets that we will go through with you that are tailored to your specific skin concern whether that’s ageing, sensitivity/ rosacea, acne, hyperpigmentation or anything else. We will guide you through every step of your skincare journey but we believe it’s important you know what is happening to your skin, why and how we can work together to fix it.
Ordering your AlumierMD Skincare
Here at Cosmetier, we’re proud to use AlumierMD as our skincare of choice, both for Dr Sharma herself and her patients. This brand understands that everyone that comes to us will have their own individual skin types and conditions, meaning they need a bespoke skincare routine using high-quality products.
Once you have had your initial consultation, you will be given access to be able to order your AlumierMD product online at any time. You will be given a prescription list of the recommended products that will work for your skin detailing which products you need and why. This list will be saved to your account so again, you can access it at any time.
Getting started
Once you have ordered your AlumierMD skincare products, you will notify Dr Sharma. She will then make a personalised video for you to fully demonstrate how to use each product and in what sequence.
Continuous Support
Once you have started using your new products, we will arrange a call to touch base with you after around 2 weeks to see how you are. This is then followed up a month later with another check-in to see how your skin is responding to the new routine.
Every 3 months thereafter we will continue to check in to see how you are feeling and how your skin is improving. At Cosmetier, we recognise the importance of holding your hand through the entire process and being able to offer our expert opinion at all times. Your skin changes over time meaning different products may need to be added or taken away from your routine as your skin needs it.
